Marin Civic Center
San Rafael, California
|

The Frank Lloyd Wright designed Marin County Civic Center, constructed beginning 1957, was Wright's 770th commission. The Civic Center consists of two horizontal wings, the Administration Building and the Hall of Justice, linked by a central node containing the Board of Supervisors Chambers and Library. Carey & Co. was retained by the County to convert the former men’s and women’s jails, in the Hall of Justice, into modern office space.
