Lionel Wilson Building
Oakland, California

This flat iron terra cotta building is the second most important historic building in downtown Oakland. It was damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. The rehabilitation required programming, seismic upgrades, repair to earthquake damaged features, ADA compliance, and tenant improvements. The City of Oakland also retained Carey & Co. as the architect to work with the city on programming and preparing office interior layouts.
