International House
Berkeley, California
|

Designed by prominent Bay Region architect George Kelham, this handsome Mission Revival style building was completed in 1930. It is prominently sited on a hillside at the edge of the University of California, Berkeley campus. After piecemeal efforts to address various development projects, the I-House decided to hire Carey & Co. to coordinate its program for future improvements, prepare a long-range plan for the property, and implement the plan as funds became available.
