Charles Duncan

Mr. Duncan has over eighteen years experience as an architect, project manager and professor, with significant expertise in historic preservation. Mr. Duncan also has significant experience in the design of new structures including private residences. Mr. Duncan recently served as project manager on the Willis Polk-designed Sunol Water Temple, San Francisco Presidio Golf Clubhouse, relocation plans for The Hassler Barn in San Jose and the Pratt Barn in San Jose, and Old Engine Co. No. 2 firehouse in San Francisco. He also served as the project architect on the rehabilitation of Stanford Main Quad Buildings 250 and 360. Mr. Duncan was a member of the team which completed the Stanford University's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Survey.

Mr. Duncan's residential design work has included new construction, additions and alterations and pre-design surveys. Services include schematics, design review and coastal permit drawings, and construction documents. His design expertise also includes a broad range of medical facilities, educational facilities, and retail facilities. Mr. Duncan has received numerous national and international design awards.
