One of Julia Morgan’s most stunning structures creates a peaceful respite and home for the Berkeley Community. The Berkeley City Club is obtaining a grant to upgrade the seismic, fire and life safety, mechanical, communications and electrical systems. This must be done without compromising the integrity of the historic structure. Carey & Co. was retained and commenced this effort with a thorough building analysis to determine the building needs. The resulting Historic Structures Report will serve as a guide for future improvements.
